If your inspection report or our technicians find no major issues, we will use a properly applied coat of paint to cover up most unsightly hairline cracks that are not too wide open. Quality paint and craftsmanship also improves the curb appeal of the property especially if the property is to be sold. Poor paint work will not cover extra rough textures and these will look bare. Wear due to sun is to be expected but we often find the original coat was placed too thinly and offers little protection the the underlying cement plaster. Most paints for this line of work are elastomeric, which is a fancy way of saying they are a form of plastic moisture barrier for the stucco. In following the recommended coverage rates, one notices that others sacrifice quality of coverage in order to save a few dollars in material costs.

Most will try to paint for color but our workers know to paint for coverage. Most contractors would rather paint with a sprayer for efficiency but this is one area where the older, simpler method will yield better results.
